According to the case materials, Sultan was convicted of fraud. From March to May 2023, he took money from Ydrys, promising to deliver an iPhone from America, and then disappeared.
In a similar manner, he deceived another victim - Kubanychbek, who also provided him with money. As a result, Kubanychbek lost 2,182,500 soms, although he received partial compensation.
Additionally, Sultan defrauded Elmira for $11,000 in the same scheme, of which only $5,000 was returned.

- However, the judicial panel of the Bishkek City Court reviewed the verdict, increasing the sentence to six years to be served in a correctional colony, with confiscation of property and deprivation of the right to engage in entrepreneurial activities for two years. The rest of the verdict remained unchanged.
The Supreme Court granted the cassation appeal and amended the verdict, increasing the sentence to eight years of imprisonment to be served in a correctional colony, with confiscation of property and deprivation of the right to engage in entrepreneurial activities for two years.
