Teenagers are being trained to detect fraud
In Bishkek, the first Republican Olympiad on financial security for schoolchildren has begun. This information was announced by the Ministry of Education.
The competitions will take place from December 1 to 3, and students from the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades will participate.
The main goal of the Olympiad is to increase the level of financial literacy among youth, develop skills to recognize suspicious financial transactions, and prevent the involvement of teenagers in fraudulent schemes.
Participants who take prize places will have the opportunity to attend summer and winter schools on financial security organized by the Center for Inter-Olympiad Training of Schoolchildren and Students at the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In addition, the winners will be invited to the International Olympiad on Financial Security, which will be held in Krasnoyarsk in 2026.
