The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic has begun vaccinating citizens planning to go on Hajj to Mecca in 2026 to ensure sanitary and epidemiological safety and reduce the risk of infection spread.

According to the Ministry's order, vaccination is mandatory for all pilgrims. It includes vaccinations against meningococcal infection and seasonal flu. These measures comply with international medical standards and are a necessary condition for participating in Hajj.

The vaccination procedure will be conducted in medical institutions across the country from December 23 to December 30, 2025. Before immunization, pilgrims must undergo a mandatory medical examination. Vaccination will be carried out in accordance with all sanitary norms, including cold chain requirements and infection control rules.
