In the Jayil district of the Chui region, in the rural area of Suusamyr, a decision was made to switch to remote learning in four schools due to severe frosts. This was reported by Azizbek Manapov, the head of the rural area, in an interview with the "Kabar" agency.
According to him, cold nights bring temperatures down to -48 degrees, while during the day, the thermometer fluctuates between -33 and -35 degrees.
“Due to these extreme conditions, schools in the villages of Tunak, Suusamyr, Pervomai, and Kozhomkul will operate remotely for a week,” he added.
