According to meteorological service data, visibility on the runway is only 175 meters, while the required visibility for the safe landing of aircraft is 800 meters.
Flights from Istanbul, as well as flights from Moscow (U62803) and to Urumqi, have been delayed. A flight from Sharm El Sheikh is headed to Tashkent.
The flight rescheduling has also affected:
- K1311 from Bishkek to Osh (from 11:00 to 14:00).
- MN65 from Bishkek to Batken (from 08:55 to 11:30).
- MN45 from Bishkek to Kerben (from 10:30 to 11:30).
The OJSC reminded that the decision to land the aircraft is made solely by the pilot.
