During the meeting, cooperation in the field of education and the opening of a new center for the Russian language and culture were discussed.
A working meeting was held in the Jalal-Abad region between Kymbat Urumkulova, director of the Eurasia Kyrgyzstan regional office, and Tilek Tekebaev, the authorized representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the meeting, Urumkulova presented the main areas of work of the ANO "Eurasia," including projects implemented in 2025. The discussion focused on educational initiatives, among which the opening of the first Eurasian center for the Russian language and culture in the region stands out.
“The center will contribute to the development of the Russian language and strengthen cultural ties between Russia and Kyrgyzstan through international programs, teacher training, and the implementation of humanitarian projects. Various educational programs are planned for children and adolescents, including theater and choreography studios, the media school 'PRORussian,' programming and digital culture courses, as well as the project 'Not Boring Russian.' There will also be film clubs and literary evenings for adults,” Urumkulova reported.
In addition, the work of the "Eurasia" social stores was discussed, which aim to improve access to essential goods for the population.
“Now the 'Eurasia' social stores can be used not only by pensioners and people with disabilities but also by parents with minor children, single mothers, healthcare workers, teachers, and students,” Urumkulova added.
Tekebaev, in turn, appreciated the contribution of ANO "Eurasia" to the socio-economic development of the country and expressed interest in expanding cooperation. He noted the importance of the assistance previously provided—the transfer of 10 school buses to remote villages, which significantly improved conditions for schoolchildren.
During the meeting, issues related to the development of the educational system in the region, the implementation of digital technologies, and the promotion of sports among youth, as well as possible formats for joint activities, were also discussed.
As a result, the parties reached an agreement to continue cooperation and implement joint projects aimed at the sustainable development of the Jalal-Abad region and improving the quality of life of its residents.
