Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, held a meeting with Sergio Gor, the special envoy of the President of the United States responsible for South and Central Asia.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the conversation, current issues and future prospects for relations between Kyrgyzstan and America were discussed.

“Regional cooperation was also in focus, including interaction within the framework of the 'Central Asia – USA' format ('C5+1'). The parties exchanged views on strengthening trade, economic, and investment ties, as well as opportunities for deepening partnership within the 'B5+1' dialogue platform,” the official statement noted.

Particular attention was paid to visa issues and the importance of creating convenient conditions for expanding business, educational, and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

As a result of the meeting, the intention to continue constructive dialogue and joint work on all areas of bilateral relations of mutual interest was confirmed.
