In Uzbekistan, they want to build a modern golf resort

A large golf resort will be built in the Tashkent region, according to a project presented by the Malaysian company Spora Global Sdn Bhd. Currently, investors are planning a trip to Uzbekistan to select a suitable site and assess the technical conditions for the implementation of this project, as reported by Podrobno.uz.

The discussion of the project took place at a meeting between Uzbekistan's ambassador Karimiddin Gadoyev and Spora Global's executive director Fio Fahmi. It is planned that the implementation of the complex will be carried out in the format of a public-private partnership in collaboration with the regional hokimiyat.

According to the investors' vision, the new resort will include a professional golf course, a golf club, four and five-star hotels, as well as residential residences. In addition, a developed recreational infrastructure is planned, including a wellness center, a restaurant, a water park, and facilities for winter sports.

Since 2012, Spora Global has been engaged in the design and management of similar facilities in various countries, including Singapore, Australia, and Scotland.
