This year, a major overhaul of 22 substations operating at voltages of 220/110/35 kV will begin in Batken, as reported by the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, at eight substations, including “Dzhin-Dzhigan,” “Kadamjai,” “Tamasha,” “Khalmion,” and “Isfana,” oil circuit breakers with voltages of 6-10 kV will be replaced with modern vacuum analogs.

- current transformers (CT) with voltages of 35 kV and 10 kV;
- anti-resonance voltage transformers (VT) with voltages of 35 kV and 10 kV.
At the “Kadamjai,” “Kyzyl-Kiya,” and “Metallurgical” substations, outdated oil circuit breakers will be replaced with gas-insulated ones, while at the “Markaz” (35/10 kV) and “Shamirova” (35/6 kV) substations, old oil switching devices will be replaced with modern vacuum circuit breakers.
It is worth noting that the Batken PES substation management oversees 51 substations with voltages of 220/110/35/10 kV, including:
- 2 substations with voltages of 220/110/35 kV;
- 15 substations with voltages of 110/35/10 kV;
- 34 substations with voltages of 35/10/6 kV.
