The replacement of outdated 10 kV oil circuit breakers has been completed at eight substations in the Batken region. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Specifically, at the 35/6 kV "Chauvay" substation, old oil circuit breakers were dismantled on the 6 kV lines "RESH-22," "School," "Factory," and "Site," as well as at the 35/6 kV "Pump - Kulundu" substation on the 6 kV lines "T-1," "AG-1," and "AG-22." They have been replaced with modern vacuum circuit breakers of a new generation.

Additionally, at the 35/10 kV "Kara-Bulak" substation, circuit breakers were also replaced on the 10 kV lines "Beles" and "Boz-Tumshuk," and at the 35/10/6 kV "Dostuk" substation, equipment was updated on the 10 kV lines "Neftoprom" and "Dostuk."

At the 35/10 kV "Kara-Bulak" (Batken) and 35/10 kV "Markaz" substations, new vacuum circuit breakers with a voltage of 35 kV were installed instead of the ODKZ-35 kV T-1 equipment.

Also, at the 110/35/10 kV "Samad" and 35/10 kV "Sulyukta" substations, battery replacements were made for more modern models. Plans include the installation of 10 kV vacuum circuit breakers at the 35/10 kV "Kara-Tokoy-1" substation in the future.

“It is important to note that the new vacuum circuit breakers meet modern requirements, are safe in terms of fire safety, and provide high reliability and low operating costs,” the official statement said.
