Energy Minister Talaybek Ibraev officially opened a workshop for the production of reinforced concrete products in the village of Cholpon, located in the Kochkor district of the Naryn region. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.
The new production facility is capable of producing up to 5,500 reinforced concrete poles per year, which is equivalent to 24 poles daily. This will improve the energy infrastructure of the district and provide construction projects with quality materials. Eight new jobs have been created in the workshop.
The workshop building occupies an area of 844.5 m², and its construction cost 42 million 793 thousand soms. The project was financed by the OJSC "National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan," and the construction work was carried out by the company OsOO "Shirin Business Group."
Ibraev emphasized the importance of developing local production, noting that the opening of such facilities helps reduce dependence on imports. According to the minister, in recent years, new substations have been built, modern equipment has been purchased, "smart" meters have been installed, and new transformers have been set up as part of energy sector reforms. "Now, when we replace outdated poles, we will be able to rely on our own production, and in the case of excess production, sell it, which will bring additional income to the RES," he added, highlighting the main task of energy workers — providing the population with heat and light.
During the event, the minister was awarded the titles of "Honorary Citizen of the Kochkor District" and "Honorary Citizen of the Village of Kara-Suu."
The opening ceremony was also attended by the General Director of OJSC "National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan" I. Sydygaliev, the first deputy head of the Kochkor district administration Erkin Chekirbaev, Alaybek Karbozov, head of the village of Kara-Suu, as well as other specialists from the energy sector.
