In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Energy aimed at developing the sector and preparing for the winter season of 2025–2026, the Bishkek Electric Networks Enterprise is carrying out comprehensive work to improve the reliability of electrical equipment.
According to the department's information, this program includes major and current repairs, as well as the construction and modernization of power transmission lines.
New energy facility
This year, a new high-voltage substation 110/10 kV "Muras" was put into operation in Bishkek.
The substation is equipped with modern technologies, including:
- a power transformer with a capacity of 40,000 kVA;
- 110 kV circuit breakers;
- 110 kV disconnectors;
- complete outdoor switchgear 10 kV (KRU).
- equipment at six substations with a voltage of 220-110/35 kV;
- 336 transformer substations (TP) 6–10/0.4 kV;
- 26.7 km of power transmission lines (PTL) 220-110/35 kV;
- 148 km of power transmission lines 10–0.4 kV.
- equipment at 47 substations with a voltage of 220-110/35 kV;
- 1917 transformer substations (TP) 6–10/0.4 kV;
- 560 km of power transmission lines (PTL) 220-110/35 kV;
- 2175 km of power transmission lines 10–0.4 kV;
- 891 km of cable power lines 10–0.4 kV.
- 2850 smart meters were installed;
- 87 km of power transmission lines were replaced with SIP-2 wires;
- 31 km of cable lines were replaced with modern cross-linked polyethylene cables;
- 32 km of PTL were laid using SIP-3;
- about 6 km of new cable lines were installed;
- the capacity of 33 transformer substations was increased.
