Heating Also Found Itself in Danger
According to local media reports, a serious accident occurred in Almaty, leaving 10 microdistricts without electricity.
Official data indicates that on the evening of November 13, a power line outage occurred at CHPP-2 affecting the 110 kV transmission lines numbered 124A and 101A. This led to a temporary shutdown of substations PS-162A "Algabas," PS-169A "Akbulak," and PS-123A "ATEC-2."
As a result, residents' homes became noticeably colder, and the operation of commercial establishments was disrupted. This situation lasted for more than a day.
By midnight, energy companies were able to partially restore electricity supply.
The next day, power was returned to the microdistricts of Sayaly, Akbulak, Zerdeli, as well as to the residential complexes "Sofia," "Arena Park," and partially to "Akkent" and "Daraboz."
