In the Leilek district of the Batken region, two Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibuses were handed over for the needs of schoolchildren and children with disabilities in the rural municipality of Kulundu.

As reported by the chairman of the Kulundinsky rural council, Abdizhappar Dosov, these vehicles became possible thanks to the directive of the chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev.

In Kulundu, there is an educational and rehabilitation institution for children with disabilities, known as "Үмүт шооласы" (Hope Ray). It can be challenging for parents to transport their children to this institution. Additionally, there is a remote village, Bulak-Bashy, where some houses are located up to 4 kilometers away from the school. During the winter, the journey to the educational institution becomes particularly difficult—rain and snow make the roads muddy and impassable. Therefore, when Tashiev visited the Leilek district on a working trip on December 11-12, we approached him with a request for two buses. The issue was resolved promptly, and two Sprinters were handed over.

One bus will be used for the "Үмүт шооласы" institution, while the other will serve schoolchildren from the village of Bulak-Bashy. Both vehicles are now under the balance of the rural municipality. The rural municipality will handle fuel and spare parts, while the payment for the driver's salary will be made by the parents," Dosov added.
