Kubatbek Tashiev, who turned 70, starts his workday at 6 a.m. He carefully washes and prepares his yellow bus for the route, after which he heads to the "Pump Station" area, located just 7 kilometers from the village. According to the driver, he considers the children to be his own. "After retiring, I stayed at home for a long time. However, upon the recommendation of the head of the village administration, I found a job as a driver and started transporting schoolchildren. Working with children is a real pleasure. My son lives in our village, and two of my grandsons study at school. They call me grandpa, and the other kids do too — so I have a whole bus full of grandsons. I make four trips a day. Parents cover the fuel costs, and the village administration pays me a salary. The arrival of the bus has been a real gift for the entire village," Kubatbek Tashiev shared.
Currently, 63 students travel daily from the "Pump Station" area to school. A local resident named Aizada spoke about the changes that have occurred in their lives. "The distance from our area to the school is 7 kilometers. Previously, children had to walk, regardless of the weather — whether it was rain or snow. We always worried about them, as there were many empty spaces, stray dogs, and sometimes wild animals around. Every day they passed through the cemetery. With the arrival of the bus last year, it has become much easier — for both the children and the parents," she noted.
