In the Kara-Suu district, in the Papan rural municipality, free bus transportation has been organized for students, which takes them to the A. Semeteev General Education School.

Thanks to this bus route, it has become much easier and safer for students from remote villages to reach the educational institution. The bus was donated by the autonomous non-profit organization "Eurasia".

As reported by the head of the Papan rural administration, Kazybek Tajibaev, this bus is intended for children who come from distant settlements. "There is a small village 4 kilometers from the village of Aral, where only elementary school children study. From the fifth grade, students are brought to the A. Semeteev School. The expenses for fuel and the driver's salary are covered by the village administration," he added.

The director of school No. 113 named after Aibash Semeteev, Salamatkan Azhibaeva, noted that the bus was allocated in January 2024 by the organization ANO "Eurasia".

"Local authorities ensure its technical maintenance. Since the bus started operating, it has significantly improved the arrival time of students. Our school has 302 students, among whom 42 children come from Bodono, where only elementary classes are available. In winter, the roads there are covered with ice, and in spring there are rains and mudslides, and the risk of landslides is high, so the bus has become a real salvation for the children," she emphasizes.

The bus driver, Polotbek Kurmangaev, spoke about his work: he transports children twice a day. "The bus was launched last year. In the morning, I leave at 7:00, and at 7:50 I bring the children to school. After lunch, around 13:30, I go to the school again and return the children around 14:00. The route goes through rocky terrain, and sometimes stones fall, and if they block the road, we remove them and continue on our way. The children come from a dangerous area," he explained.

One of the parents, Asan kyzy Turgan, noted that the bus has significantly increased the safety of the children. "My son is in the 6th grade and takes this bus to school every day. Previously, the journey was long and difficult. Now he arrives on time for classes and returns home. With the arrival of the bus, the safety of the children has improved, and the trips have become free," she shared.
