Rakima Moldokerimova, an educator with 40 years of experience and a physics teacher at the M. Mamakeev Gymnasium, lives in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region.

She actively encourages her students to avoid negative influences, strive for knowledge, and work hard.

“I started my career at this gymnasium right after finishing my studies. Out of 40 years of work, I spent 15 years as the deputy director and 10 years as the principal. We noticed that a generation is growing up that does not read, so we first opened a school for mothers and then for fathers. For children to learn, parents must also be involved in the process. However, now both adults and children are too dependent on smartphones. I conduct special lectures and classes, explaining the harm of mobile phones, send materials in parents' chats, and urge them to participate actively,” Moldokerimova said.

In her opinion, a child's success largely depends on parental support.

“When we were little, we helped our mother card wool, and it was always accompanied by support. We worked with pleasure. This approach is also needed in raising children. Parents should create conditions for studying, buy books, and discuss them after reading. Physics is an exact science, and many children find it difficult. But it can be explained through everyday examples. Building a yurt involves elements of chemistry, mathematics, and physics: dyeing and processing felt is chemistry, and the specifics of installation are physics. We need to engage children with such examples. I am proud of those students who chose the profession of a physics teacher, just like I did,” the teacher added.

In her free time, Rakima engages in handicrafts.

“As I age, I want children to remember their Kyrgyz roots and continue the traditions of our people. I teach my children and grandchildren handicrafts; my mother taught me this. I also share my experience with other craftswomen in our district,” noted 65-year-old Rakima aiym.

She raises three children and joyfully watches over her 12 grandchildren. For her achievements in education, she has been recognized with several awards from local authorities, including a badge of honor for educational excellence.
