In the Ton district, a plot of land belonging to a school has been returned to state ownership after its illegal transfer to private individuals.

The press service of the General Prosecutor's Office reported the return of the land plot, which previously belonged to the secondary school named after J. Turusbekov in the village of Ak-Sai.

During an inspection conducted by the Ton district prosecutor's office, it was established that the plot of 1,989.31 sq. m was unlawfully transferred to private ownership. This occurred in 2002-2003, when the previous administration of the Kun-Batysh rural district violated legislative norms.

Thanks to the actions of the prosecutor's office, the plot, valued at 1.9 million soms, has been fully returned to state ownership.
