A check conducted by the military prosecutor's office of the Batken garrison and the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) confirmed that lands designated for border outposts had fallen into private hands. The plots, measuring 2.59 hectares, were allocated in 2001, but their transfer to private ownership was carried out in violation of the law.
Following the prosecutor's actions, the aforementioned plots were returned to state ownership and are now registered with one of the military units of the Border Service of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic.
