The arrest took place at the crime scene
During a joint operation conducted by the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Main Department of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was revealed that the head of the food warehouse in one of the military units, warrant officer S.K.A., was regularly embezzling food products intended for soldiers. These products included sausages, pasta, rice, salt, sugar, oil, and other goods, which he then illegally sold on the market at reduced prices.
Warrant officer S.K.A. was arrested during another attempt to sell the stolen products and was taken into custody.
Currently, investigative activities are ongoing to identify other participants who may have been involved in this crime, the agency reported.
