For many years, students from Zhar-Bashy and Boz-Barmaq, located in the Jeek rural district of the Issyk-Ata region in Chui Province, faced a serious problem: the difficulty of getting to school.

To attend classes in the neighboring village, children had to adapt to various conditions: some left home early in the morning and walked several kilometers, others tried to catch a ride on the highway, and some parents, especially in bad weather, were forced to drive their children.

During the autumn-winter period, the situation became particularly difficult: the roads were slippery, and the darkness made the journey unsafe. Teachers often had to delay the start of lessons, as some students arrived on time while others were 10-15 minutes late.

However, everything changed when the autonomous non-profit organization "Eurasia" provided a school bus for the rural district. This was a significant relief for both parents and the students themselves.

The village elder of Internatsionalnoe, Azis Birimkulov, spoke about the operation of the new route. "The bus serves two villages daily — Zhar-Bashy and Boz-Barmaq. In the morning, it makes three trips from 7:30 to 8:15 to pick up all the children. Throughout the day, the bus makes two trips, starting around 13:15. As a result, it transports about 170 children. All expenses for its maintenance, including fuel, servicing, and the driver's salary, are covered by the local budget of the ayil okmotu. Now students arrive at 'Aktilek' on time, without unnecessary fuss and risk," he noted.

According to the elder, there are 910 students enrolled in the Aktilek secondary school, many of whom come from nearby villages. Previously, the lack of transportation often led to tardiness, and in bad weather, some children even missed classes. Now, the journey to school has become a safe and organized part of their daily lives.

Parents expressed gratitude for the arrival of the bus, which has significantly reduced their worries. Now children travel to school in comfortable transport instead of standing in the cold or rain waiting for rides.

For local residents, this step has become a testament to how the interaction between local authorities and community organizations can positively change the lives of small communities.
