The Ministry of Education responded to reports of violence and offenses among students of secondary school No. 7 named after Mendegul Uulu Karach Ake in Karakol, Issyk-Kul region.

According to the ministry's information, on November 2, 2025, a school social worker received information that students from grades 9-11 were gathering in a grove near Sadovaya Street between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM, where, according to sources, violence might occur.

School staff promptly relayed this information to the territorial inspector of the criminal investigation department of the Karakol police. Upon arriving at the scene before the police, the social worker and a teacher found that both current and former students were present. The juvenile affairs inspector, who arrived later, contacted the parents of the students and returned them to their children.

The next day, on November 3, a meeting was organized with the children in the grove and their parents, and explanatory work was conducted together with the territorial inspectors. An investigation into this incident is currently ongoing.

Additionally, in accordance with an order from the Karakol City Department of Education, a check is being conducted at secondary school No. 7 named after Mendegul Uulu Karach Ake aimed at preventing violence and offenses, as well as creating safe conditions for learning,” the official statement noted.

The ministry promised to provide additional information upon completion of the investigation.

In light of the increasing cases of destructive behavior among minors, the Ministry of Education strongly recommends that parents closely monitor how their children spend their time, especially in the evening hours, avoid situations where children are left unsupervised, and pay special attention to their upbringing.

Earlier, a resident of the village of Pristan-Przhevalsk in the Issyk-Kul region, Maria Tsareva, posted an appeal in the Kyrgyz segment of social networks. She addressed the chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) with a complaint about the situation at school No. 7.

According to Tsareva, she is a member of the parent committee of the 9th "A" grade. The woman claims that high school students regularly beat younger students and demand 100 soms from them every week. The list of victims includes her son, which prompted her to appeal to the GKNB, the General Prosecutor's Office, and the Ombudsman Institute.

Later, Tsareva made another appeal. She reported that on November 15, she was contacted by the GKNB of the Issyk-Kul region.
