In his speech, Azamat Erkimbekov, the head of the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan, shared information about modern digital solutions that will help combat violence and offenses among schoolchildren.

He noted that after the division of the Ministry of Education and Science into two separate entities — the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science — the fight against violence among children and adolescents has become one of the main priorities.

Anonymous Reports via Electronic Journal

One of the main innovations was the update of the electronic journal, which received the function of anonymous reporting called "Don't Be Afraid to Report".

Erkimbekov explained: "If a child witnesses or becomes a victim of violence, they can send a message through the app. Their identity will remain completely confidential, and access to the information will only be available to three responsible employees: a representative from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and a monitoring specialist."

Since the introduction of this function in April of this year, about 2000 messages have been registered, some of which helped prevent cases of bullying and extortion. For example, in one school in the Issyk-Kul region, it was possible to quickly intervene and stop extortion among high school students.

Working with Parents and School Communities

According to Erkimbekov, the work on violence prevention should begin with an emphasis on upbringing. Schools are implementing the program "School for Parents," which covers all grades from 1st to 11th.

The program includes topics related to the prevention of violence, extremism, and radicalism, as well as the formation of digital culture.

"It is necessary to understand that upbringing is not just about grades and completing homework. Parents and teachers should pay attention to the emotional state of the child and their environment," he added.

Artificial Intelligence and Modern Media

The ministry is also using artificial intelligence to create social videos aimed at preventing violence in schools.

"Previously, video production took a lot of time and resources, but now AI allows for quick and efficient creation. One of these videos gathered 80,000 views in just two days," noted Erkimbekov.

To attract the attention of young people, the ministry collaborates with well-known bloggers and personalities who have recorded motivational video messages against violence and indifference in educational institutions.

Future Projects and International Cooperation

The Ministry of Education does not plan to stop at what has been achieved and intends to develop digital solutions that contribute to the safety of children.

Azamat Erkimbekov announced that starting in 2026, with the support of partners from the Republic of Korea, the ministry will launch new digital educational platforms and programs to enhance media literacy among schoolchildren.

In conclusion of his speech, Erkimbekov emphasized that the implementation of such digital tools as "Kündölük" is a step towards creating a safe and modernly equipped school environment: "We must use technology for good — to protect children, respond promptly to alarm signals, and create a sense of safety both in school and outside of it."
