According to them, the kindergarten located in Chiy-Talaa was opened on August 31, 2025, and was named No. 41 "Akpari Ene." However, this name caused public outcry, as it belongs to a currently living person who has no connection to the field of education. As noted by the villagers, the name was assigned in honor of the mother of a sponsor who supported the construction of the kindergarten.
The villagers believe that the institution should be given a neutral name — "Chiy-Talaa." The head of the rural administration of the Uch-Döbö-Alaï rural district, Mustafa Janibekov, stated that the residents had previously raised this issue. "Currently, the kindergarten is functioning. Before my appointment, a corresponding resolution was adopted by the rural council, according to which the name was assigned. If a meeting of the rural council is held, we will submit a proposal for renaming," he said.
In turn, the head of the Alay district education department, Bolot Tairov, explained that the issue of changing the name of the kindergarten falls within the competence of the rural administration and the deputies of the rural council. "To resolve this issue, the rural administration needs to adopt a corresponding resolution. We have already sent official letters regarding this matter, and the situation is under control. According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, educational institutions are assigned the names of distinguished and well-known figures in the field of education. Assigning the name of a living person is not allowed. This is only possible after at least five years have passed since their death," he said.
The kindergarten has a capacity of 50 places, but currently, it is educating 87 children.
