
The acceptance of applications for the international competition "Media-Navruz 2025" has concluded. The organizers reported that over 40 materials were submitted for the competition by journalists and authors representing media from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
This competition has attracted significant attention from the journalistic and scientific community in the region. Among the participants, notable media include "Russian Newspaper," "Word of Kyrgyzstan," the TV channel "Katun 24," Sputnik Kyrgyzstan, "Evening Bishkek," and the news agency "Kabar," as well as specialized scientific institutes and universities.
The initiative is carried out by the Scientific and Educational Center for Altaic Studies and Turkology "Great Altai" at Altai State University, aimed at developing scientific cooperation and media dialogue in the Eurasian space.
The competition has two main nominations. The first is "Expeditions of the Great Altai," dedicated to the study and popularization of the archaeological and ethnographic heritage of the region. The second is "Our Common Great Victory!," timed to the 80th anniversary of Victory, aimed at preserving historical memory.
The results of the competition will be announced after March 20, before the celebration of Nowruz. All participants will receive certificates from the organizers, and the winners will be awarded special prizes for their contribution to the development of scientific and media cooperation in Russia and Central Asia.
