According to the agency's information, from January 8 to February 14 of this year, a preventive event called "Arsenal" took place in the Kara-Suu district. Its goal was to ensure public safety, identify illegal arms trafficking, prevent incidents related to firearms, and address domestic violence prevention.

As a result of these activities, 31 units of weapons were confiscated. Among them, 2 units of smoothbore weapons were voluntarily surrendered by citizens without documents. Additionally, during the raid, 18 units of smoothbore weapons and 5 gas pistols were seized. Six units of weapons were temporarily stored at the district internal affairs department due to the death of their owner.

Furthermore, protocols were drawn up against 21 citizens who violated storage and re-registration rules, and they were fined a total of 63,000 soms.
