In the Naryn region, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satyiev, held a working meeting where the results of the local courts' work for the past year were discussed.

Satyiev emphasized that the state is creating important conditions for the reform of the judicial system and improving its technical base, which in turn contributes to the independence of the judiciary, which operates solely on the basis of the law. He noted the necessity of high responsibility among employees and adherence to legality, as well as the importance of justifying the trust of the state and society.

The chairman pointed out the inadmissibility of corruption, hidden agreements, and pressure within the judicial system. He stated that those who do not ensure justice in the consideration of cases and do not comply with legislation should not hold their positions, and the judicial system should be cleansed of such elements.

He stressed that every judicial decision must be based on the law, be objective, and well-reasoned. According to him, the main task of the meeting is to strengthen these principles and ensure fair justice.

At the meeting, the chairman of the Naryn Regional Court, Kuralbek Abdykadyrov, presented a report on the quality of justice. He reported that in 2025, 11,741 cases were filed in the first instance courts of the region, of which 11,281 were considered, which exceeds the figures of the previous year by 1,169 cases, or 11.5%.

There were 423 appeals submitted to the Naryn Regional Court, which constitutes only 3.7% of the total number of cases, and is 334 cases fewer than in 2024.

The deputies of the chairman of the Naryn Regional Court also reported on their work results for the past year during the meeting.

Before the visit to the region, a decision was made to send Supreme Court judges to provide methodological and practical assistance to local courts, resulting in their departure to the Naryn region to analyze judicial practice.
