Unknown individuals have destroyed the largest public archive dedicated to UFOs in the United States. This incident occurred against the backdrop of President Donald Trump's order to release all materials related to extraterrestrial life. This was reported by the Daily Mail.

According to the publication, the archive, which contained declassified documents about unidentified flying objects, was damaged.

It is noted that on February 20, hundreds of gigabytes of information disappeared from the main server of the Black Vault website. This resource, which serves as an online archive, was founded by researcher John Greenewald Jr., who has submitted over 11,000 Freedom of Information Act requests and collected more than 3.8 million declassified documents over three decades.

Greenewald Jr. does not rule out that the incident may be related to sabotage, although he does not consider this the only explanation. He also noted that access rights to some folders on the site have changed, raising additional questions.

Nevertheless, the researcher promised to restore the archive using backup copies.

It is worth recalling that earlier the head of the White House ordered the release of documents related to aliens and UFOs.

“Given the significant interest, I direct the Secretary of Defense [Pete Hegseth] and the relevant agencies to begin the process of identifying and releasing government documents related to alien and extraterrestrial life, as well as unidentified aerial phenomena and UFOs,” he wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
