Deputy Dastan Bekeshev shared the news on his Facebook page that graduates of orphanages can become participants in the program “Social Mortgage”.

This initiative was launched following an appeal from Igor Belyaev, a graduate of an orphanage, who raised the issue of housing for orphans leaving the institution. He reached out to Bekeshev for assistance on this matter.

In response to his request, the deputy sent official inquiries to various government agencies.

In response to his appeals, the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration reported that starting June 1, 2024, a state children's deposit called "Kelechekke salym" will be introduced by presidential decree. This deposit will be automatically opened for every child left without parents, without the need for a personal application.

“Additionally, I received a response from the State Mortgage Company. Currently, work is underway to make changes to include graduates of orphanages in the 'Social Mortgage' program as part of the 'Menin üyiüm' project. After the necessary measures are taken, additional information will be provided,” the deputy wrote on social media.

Bekeshev emphasized that work on this issue continues. “The issue of providing housing for orphaned children requires a comprehensive approach, and I will monitor its resolution,” he added.

Let us remind you that Igor Belyaev, director of the public fund "Right to Protect Orphaned Children," has once again raised the issue of housing for graduates of orphanages. He noted that despite legislative guarantees, it is actually very difficult to obtain an apartment for free. Therefore, he is actively advocating for the introduction of preferential mortgages.
