In Bishkek, as part of the conference "Education for Peace and Security," a ceremony was held to lay the Peace Alley. This event took place in honor of the International Day of Education on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, which is celebrated on March 5 each year.

High-ranking guests participated in the greening action, including the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Asein Isaev and the head of the regional delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Central Asia Biljana Milošević. Representatives of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, international experts, and youth activists were also present.

During the event, young trees were planted, symbolizing Kyrgyzstan's aspiration for a nuclear-free world and regional security. As participants emphasized, the Peace Alley will serve as a reminder of the importance of educational initiatives in preventing global threats and ensuring the security of future generations.

A commemorative plaque with the logos of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the ICRC, and the OSCE was also installed at the site, confirming the parties' commitment to international humanitarian principles and dialogue on non-proliferation issues.
