Acid rain from Iran may reach Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan

Experts warn about the consequences of attacks on oil storage facilities

Experts are warning that acid rain from Iran may reach Central Asian countries, including Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. This alarming news comes amid reports that dangerous precipitation is already being observed in Tehran.

Recent attacks on oil storage facilities in the Tehran area have led to the formation of black smoke clouds, and the rain that fell on the night of March 8 turned out to be acidic, containing traces of oil combustion products. According to ISNA, citing the Red Crescent, medical professionals have urged local residents to avoid going outside during the rain.

Additionally, it has been reported that a nuclear facility in Isfahan, Iran, has sustained damage. This warning was disseminated by the National Center for Nuclear Security of Iran.
