The working inspection led by the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, covered important infrastructure projects in the capital, as reported by the press service of the city hall.
The first site visited was the area at the intersection of Young Guard Boulevard and Leo Tolstoy Street, where the construction of a new transport interchange is planned.
The mayor instructed the responsible services to begin preparatory work and remove all obstacles to start construction.

The next point of the visit was to check the progress of the road construction on Bakayev Street and the construction of a new five-story Young Technicians Station, which will include laboratories, an observatory, a museum, classrooms, and a library. The facility is expected to open on June 1, 2026.
During the inspection, the mayor also reviewed the construction of a new building for kindergarten No. 131, where he suggested considering the possibility of building a three-story building instead of the planned two-story one to improve conditions for children.

The tour concluded with an inspection of the water intake "Orto-Alysh," which provides drinking water to 40% of Bishkek's population. Work is being carried out at this site to clean the replenishment lakes, and the construction of a 12th replenishment lake is also planned to ensure stable water supply to the city.
Following the field inspection, the mayor ordered a check on the legality of constructions near the water intake and to intensify work on the creation of a new replenishment lake, emphasizing the importance of this area.
