At a meeting of the Education Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Minister of Digital Development Nursultan Kubanov reported that the Ministry of Digital Development proposes to introduce a course on cyber hygiene into school education.

According to him, the government has initiated a comprehensive program to improve the digital security of citizens. As part of this program, a self-restriction feature for obtaining loans was added to the "Tunduk" system, which has been utilized by about 200,000 people according to the agency's data. It is also planned to include topics related to digital security in the educational process.

Kubanov noted: "We have prepared proposals for the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic to add classes on cyber hygiene starting from the 7th grade. Interestingly, children can teach their parents. Statistics show that elderly people and those who are not sufficiently informed about digital security often become victims of fraudsters."
