In Osh, at the "Toloykon" racetrack, the national games officially kicked off, timed to coincide with the celebration of "Nooruz-2026".
The opening ceremony gathered the deputy plenipotentiary representative of the president in the Osh region, Talant Arstankulov, as well as representatives of the Kok-Boru Federation and heads of specialized departments, as reported by the regional representative office.
As part of the events, republican championships in traditional sports are planned, including kok-boru, at chabysh (horse racing), er enish (horse wrestling), and salburuun. The first competitions opened with kok-boru matches, involving more than 10 teams.
The final competitions are scheduled for March 21, on the day of the holiday itself.
