According to him, the construction of the lyceums in these cities is already 60 percent complete, and they will be able to accept their first students in the 2026–2027 academic year.
It is important to note that the opening of the lyceums in Manas and Talas does not limit the opportunity for children to study only in these institutions. As Narynbekov explained, a commission based on the principles of blended learning will determine which of the three lyceums each child will attend, taking into account children from all seven regions.
In each of the three lyceums, it is planned to accept 72 students into the 6th grade for the new academic year, and in Manas and Talas, there will also be enrollment for the 7th grade in the same volume.
The lyceum in Cholpon-Ata, which opened in 2023 by presidential decree, has already accepted 264 students. The educational process is conducted in the Kyrgyz language, and meals and accommodation in the dormitory are provided free of charge five times a day.
