Tomorrow, March 20, Bishkek will celebrate the holiday of Orozo Ait by providing free transportation on two bus routes — No. 38 and No. 203. This information was announced by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the provided data, as part of the mufti's initiative, about 50 buses will operate free of charge from 05:00 to 12:00. The main goal of this action is to create a festive atmosphere for residents and tourists gathering for the Ait prayer, as well as to highlight the spiritual values of this sacred day.
The Ait prayer in Bishkek will take place on March 20 at the Old Square named after Turdakun Usubaliev. The event program includes:
- 07:00 – 07:30 — reading of the Quran;
- 07:30 – 07:40 — moderation: Shukur Ismailov;
- 07:40 – 08:10 — speeches by religious figures (Zholdoshbek Abdildaev, Bakyt Kaikiev);
- 08:10 – 08:30 — speech by the mufti on the order and rules for conducting the prayer;
- 08:20 – 08:30 — lining up;
- 08:30 – 08:50 — conducting the Ait prayer and festive prayer.
In other regions of the country, the Ait prayer will take place in mosques. The general program in the regions is as follows:
- 07:30 – 08:00 — reading of the Quran;
- 08:00 – 08:25 — religious speeches;
- 08:25 – 08:30 — explanation of the order for conducting the prayer;
- 08:30 — conducting the Ait prayer.
It should be noted that in mountainous areas, the timing of the prayer may vary slightly.
