The initiative of Deputy Altynbek Kudayberdiev proposes to exempt foreign citizens working in educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan from tax obligations. This bill has been posted on the official website of the Jogorku Kenesh for discussion.

In order to attract foreign specialists and improve the educational infrastructure, the deputy suggests the following measures:

Kudayberdiev notes that foreign specialists typically work under short-term contracts and do not accumulate pension rights in Kyrgyzstan. As a result, mandatory insurance contributions do not fulfill their social function. The proposed changes will help reduce administrative barriers and simplify the process of employing foreign teachers.
