For three days, participants were trained in media coverage of important social issues.
From March 24 to 26, 2026, a media project for youth took place in Kyrgyzstan, aimed at developing information literacy, creative skills, and civic engagement among schoolchildren and young people. The organizers shared this information.

This event was part of the project "Strong Youth - Strong Country!", which is implemented with the support of UNICEF and funded by the European Union. The project is executed by the Association of Community Media, while the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic acts as a partner.
During the three-day program, participants attended educational and practical sessions dedicated to important contemporary topics, including civic participation, gender equality and inclusion, as well as climate change issues.

Additionally, the program included interactive quizzes, practical tasks, and workshops. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions to representatives of international organizations, government bodies, and parliament members, including UNICEF and the European Union.

Upon completion of the Bootcamp, participants received certificates and learned about a future mentoring project that will support the development of school media centers.

This initiative aims to support active and media-literate youth capable of contributing to the development of society and the country.
