The international football tournament Manas Cup 2025 (U-23) started on November 12 in the city of Manas. According to the Kyrgyz Football Union, in their debut match, the Olympic team of Kyrgyzstan won against Bahrain with a score of 2:1. Arsen Sharshenbekov opened the scoring, and Anton Polev added a second goal in the 42nd minute of the game.
The competitions are taking place at the Kurmanbek Stadium, where teams from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Iran, and Bahrain are participating.
One of the goals of the tournament is to establish experience exchange among youth teams, improve their international playing practice, and strengthen friendly ties.
In addition, this event serves as preparation for our team for the final stage of the 2026 Asia Cup.
The next match will be held on November 15 against the team of Iran, and on November 18 against Russia.
