Kyrgyz Football Union Expands Cooperation with Saudi Arabia

On January 6, a memorandum of cooperation was signed in Jeddah between the Kyrgyz Football Union and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, as reported by the KFS.

The document was signed by the presidents of the organizations: Kamchybek Tashiev from KFS and Yaser Al-Misehal from the Saudi side.

The purpose of this agreement is to develop the football infrastructure of Kyrgyzstan, implement international standards, and enhance the competitiveness of local teams. Within the framework of the memorandum, friendly matches are planned between women's and youth teams of both countries during the 2026-2027 period.

Additionally, the parties agreed on joint actions for the exchange of sports information, improving football management, developing refereeing, training coaches, and technical development, as well as organizing and conducting tournaments.

It is worth noting that Kamchybek Tashiev, the president of KFS, is currently in Saudi Arabia on an official visit and is participating in the U-23 Asian Cup matches taking place in Jeddah.
