The Tourism Development Support Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic reported on the results of 2025

Today, February 10, a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce took place, attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev. During the meeting, the report of the Tourism Development Support Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025 was presented. The General Director of the Fund, Adilet Januzakov, emphasized that the new team conducted a comprehensive assessment of the institution's work, paying special attention to improving financial discipline and the efficiency of fund expenditure, as well as focusing on priority areas.

According to Januzakov, due to improved financial control, the Fund managed to recover 56.1 million soms in accounts receivable, including the full repayment of loans for projects in Naryn and the village of Tosor. Expenses on IT, communication, and related services were also optimized, allowing for the creation of a more transparent and sustainable resource management model.

“The funds raised were directed towards the implementation of key infrastructure projects. Currently, out of 18 Rest Point network facilities, 11 are operational, while the others are in the final stages of preparation. Additionally, the Fund attracted over 4.5 million dollars in grant funding from the World Bank for the construction of three new facilities in the Osh region,” he added.

Adilet Januzakov also reported that the Fund's subsidiary GoBus is engaged in regular passenger transportation and collaborates with major tourism and image events as a logistics partner. Currently, preparations are underway to implement an electronic ticketing system for intercity routes.

The Fund is also actively implementing nationally significant projects aimed at attracting investments and creating long-term economic effects. As part of the international sports complex project "Tamga-Tosor," work is being conducted with investors, with total investments exceeding 100 million US dollars. The development of the Baytik Mountain Resort and Chatkal Mountain Resort projects continues.

The new management model of the Fund is focused on the rational allocation of resources, creating sustainable investment conditions, and developing tourism as an important factor in the socio-economic growth of the Kyrgyz Republic.
