The CEC approved the election results for district No. 16: deputies of the ЖК become Jumabekov, Chotonov, and Kairylbekova

The Central Election Commission discussed the results of the early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh for district No. 16 on December 5 and made the corresponding decision.

According to the voting results, the elections for deputies in district No. 16 were recognized as valid, and the protocol with the election results was approved. Among the elected deputies were:

- Jumabekov Dastanbek Artisbekovich – 12,928 votes (22.97%);
- Chotonov Meder Oskonbekovich – 10,164 votes (18.06%);
- Kairylbekova Medina Kairylbekovna – 8,951 votes (15.90%).

In district No. 16, 82 polling stations were organized, and there were 133,744 people on the voter lists. A total of 57,031 voters participated in the voting, which amounted to 42.6% of the total number of registered voters.

At the polling stations in the district, 50,018 people voted, which corresponds to 37.40% of those included in the lists. 7,013 voters voted remotely, accounting for 5.24% of the total number of voters.

A total of 10 candidates participated in the elections, all of whom were registered. The distribution of votes among the candidates is as follows:

1. Zhakyshev Ruslanbek Shergazievich – 8,872 votes (15.76%);
2. Jumabekov Dastanbek Artisbekovich – 12,928 votes (22.97%);
3. Kairylbekova Medina Kairylbekovna – 8,951 votes (15.90%);
4. Biymyrza uulu Aziz – 3,816 votes (6.78%);
5. Syidalieva Meerim Töröbekovna – 1,399 votes (2.49%);
6. Chotonov Meder Oskonbekovich – 10,164 votes (18.06%);
7. Rasul kyzy Mirgul – 2,662 votes (4.73%);
8. Syunbaev Medetbek Rysbekovich – 546 votes (0.97%);
9. Murataliev Marat Moldonovich – 5,005 votes (8.89%);
10. Kapalov Adylbek Eshimbekovich – 1,275 votes (2.27%);
11. “Against all” – 538 votes (0.93%).

During the preparation and conduct of the elections, the Coordination Group for Operational Response of the CEC received 6 appeals and complaints. All of them were reviewed, and responses were provided in accordance with current legislation. The results of the review are reflected in the Register of Complaints and Violations.

Based on protocol No. 16 of the district election commission regarding the voting results from December 4, 2025, as well as information from law enforcement agencies about measures taken regarding reports of violations, the CEC recognized the elections as valid in accordance with electoral legislation.

Recall that on November 30, the voting process for the elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh took place in Kyrgyzstan. The country was divided into 30 districts, with 3 deputies elected from each district. A total of 90 deputies were elected. The new election system also includes a gender quota: deputies from one district cannot be of the same gender; the options allow for 2 men and 1 woman or 2 women and 1 man.
