Osh, the Southern Capital of Kyrgyzstan
Osh is the second largest and most significant city in Kyrgyzstan. It has absorbed the spirit of numerous caravans that have passed through these places for millennia, and later reflected the period of incorporation into the Russian Empire and the Soviet era.
Currently, about two hundred seventy thousand people live here, including the suburbs. Osh, the unofficial capital of southern Kyrgyzstan, is the center of the economy and culture of this region.
