- In Kyrgyzstan, preparations have begun for the construction of a new fattening complex for 10,000 head of cattle, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The project will be implemented by the Open Joint Stock Company "Kyrgyz Agroholding".

The Ministry informs that project documentation and a business plan are currently being developed, as well as technical solutions for the complex, which is planned to be located on an area of 25 hectares. The technology of open feedlots will be used, which is adapted to local conditions and meets international standards.

The initial tender for 3.5 million soms was canceled due to a lack of documents from participants. A repeated tender announced for 1.5 million soms also failed to attract interest and received no applications. As a result, the tender commission decided to carry out the procurement through a direct contract in accordance with the current legislation. The contract was signed with individual entrepreneur "Aliyeva O.".

The Ministry of Agriculture noted that a team of experts has already arrived in Kyrgyzstan to work on the project documentation and business plan. In addition, they will provide consulting support for the repurposing of the "Elita" branch site to create an open-type feedlot for 500 head of cattle.
