As a result of the natural disaster that affected the provinces of Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, and Lam Dong, 1,154 buildings were damaged, including homes, schools, and administrative facilities. Approximately 186,000 structures were submerged. In addition, more than 3.2 million heads of cattle and poultry perished, and the damage to fisheries amounted to 1,157 hectares.

The agricultural sector also suffered significant losses: over 80,000 hectares of crops and more than 117,000 hectares of fruit plantations were damaged. Preliminary estimates place the economic damage at 9.035 trillion dong, equivalent to over 341 million US dollars.

"Currently, damage assessments are being conducted in the affected areas, along with cleanup and sanitation efforts to mitigate the consequences of the flooding," the agency reported.
