Due to the floods and landslides, five people are missing, more than 43,000 homes are underwater, and over 10,000 hectares of agricultural land have been flooded. According to local authorities, the death toll in the central part of the country has risen to 16 since the weekend. The water level in the flooded areas continues to rise.

This region is known for its coffee plantations and popular beaches. Farmers report significant damage: floodwaters have submerged plantations, making it difficult to harvest crops.

On November 19, the Vietnamese news agency reported that authorities have deployed naval bases to provide assistance to people in difficult situations.
