
As a result of this attack, 40 X-101 cruise missiles, 7 Kalibr missiles, and one Iskander-M ballistic missile were used, as reported in the morning update. Additionally, Russian forces launched 476 drones, of which about 300 turned out to be "Shaheds".
The air defense system managed to intercept most of the attacking objects. It was recorded that 7 missiles and 34 strike drones hit 14 locations, and debris fell in 6 areas. The main strikes were concentrated in the Lviv, Ternopil, and Kharkiv regions.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, 46 people were injured as a result of the shelling in Kharkiv. Russian forces struck the Slobodsky and Osnovyansky districts of the city, employing 19 "Geran-2" drones.
The drone and missile strikes also affected Ternopil. Interior Minister Igor Klymenko reported 10 dead and 37 injured.
"In Ternopil... two nine-story residential buildings were damaged. A fire broke out in one of them, while the other suffered destruction from the third to the ninth floor. As of 10:00, there were 10 recorded casualties and 37 injuries. Rescuers continue to work, evacuating people from blocked apartments; some may be under the rubble," he shared in a Telegram message.
