
According to information provided by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the strikes from Russian drones targeted the Chernihiv and Poltava regions. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down 206 drones that attacked from the north, south, and east of the country. "We recorded hits from 17 strike UAVs in seven different locations," the official statement from the Armed Forces of Ukraine says.
In the Chernihiv region, in the city of Koryukivka, the drones caused damage to an agricultural enterprise, resulting in a hangar catching fire. An administrative building, a private house, and a car were also damaged. As a result of the incident, a 66-year-old woman was injured.
In Novhorod-Siverskyi, also in the Chernihiv region, infrastructure was damaged: administrative buildings, shops, a pharmacy, and a café, but there were no casualties.
In the Poltava district, the Russian strike targeted a gas extraction facility, where a fire broke out but was quickly extinguished. No information about casualties has been reported.
