According to TASS, since the evening of October 28, the number of victims as a result of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has exceeded 90 people, as confirmed by the Al Jazeera television channel.
On the same day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out strikes on Hamas militants' positions in the Gaza Strip. According to media reports, the airstrikes were directed at the southern part of the sector and the city of Gaza.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz previously stated that Hamas militants attacked IDF soldiers in the Gaza Strip, thereby violating the ceasefire. However, he did not specify the exact location of the incident. According to reports, this attack occurred in the area of the city of Rafah, located on the border with Egypt.
