
On the night of November 1, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the interception and destruction of 98 Ukrainian drones in the country’s airspace.
According to information provided by the military department, the largest number of drones, specifically 45, were shot down over the Belgorod region. In turn, 12 drones were destroyed in the Samara region, and another 11 in the Moscow region, six of which were headed towards Moscow. There were also ten drones shot down over the Voronezh and Rostov regions, four in the Tula region, two in the Lipetsk and Ryazan regions, and one over the Kursk and Kaluga regions.
While the drones were attacking, a power outage occurred in Zhukovsky, located southeast of the capital. Local authorities explained this event as an "automatic shutdown of equipment."
The governor of the Tula region, Dmitry Milyaev, also reported the fall of drone debris in Tula, which led to traffic restrictions on Kutuzov Street. According to him, no one was injured as a result of the incident, and the infrastructure was not damaged.
